All content published on this site (text, analysis, maps) is the property of the Institute for Saharan Margins unless otherwise stated. Reproduction for commercial purposes requires prior authorisation; quotation for analytical or press purposes is free, provided the source is cited.

Privacy policy

Data collected. Three forms collect personal data: the newsletter (email address), the contact form (name, email, subject, message) and the event-interest form (name, email, preferred format). This data is sent to the Netlify Forms service and stored by Netlify in the United States.

Purpose and legal basis. The data is used only to answer your request, send you the Institute's publications or tell you about events. Processing is based on your consent, given when you submit the form. It is never sold, transferred or used for advertising.

Retention. Contact messages are kept for at most three years after the last exchange. Newsletter and event addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights. You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection and withdrawal of consent, exercisable by email at ims.advisory@afripolitique.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
